What “book” are you referring to?

According to Edmunds TMV, the value of my s2k has decreased.

Is that reflecting season, economy, or both?

My guess is seasonal more than economy.

Fun facts:
- KBB price on this car doesn't change for mileages between 0 and ~50k
- For as long as I've been watching S2K prices on KBB, they have been lower than most sellers are willing to sell at.
- Prior to car prices taking a dive in Fall 08, the KBB prices favored the seller, and were generally higher than buyers were willing to buy at.
- I think Edmunds.com generally has more accurate real world pricing.

FWIW YMMV BBQ

I'd like to see the prices go to $1 resale value, that way I could never ever justify getting rid of it ;P

if everyone pulls their S out the market and turn down all offers made to them, then supply and demand will send the value of our cars skyrocketing.
