Carbon build up on rear bumper

Angry Carbon build up on rear bumper

after about 2 weeks after a car wash... my rear bumper is black again with carbon from the muffler. Is this normal for the S or just me?...

I believe it is brake dust. And yes it is normal. Some diffusers could take care of it or lessen it if it bothers you that much. Higher performance brakes produce more dust.

my car is sebring silver and i do not have "soot" on my rear bumper but then again i'm still NA at the moment. my other car is not NA and it produces black clouds during high rpm shifts. that bumper is always covered in crap...

Me too. Bone stock AP2. I dunno what it is but it really cramps the GPW style.
