carbon fiber airduct
Hello,
I was wodering if anyone had a carbon fiber airduct connected to the factory airbox, does it make any difference in gas mileage or performance? Just wanted some insight before purchasing the airduct for my car. Thanks

It really would only do a big difference when at speed. It should act as a scoop for a ram effect to your airbox when theres enough air flowing towards the opening in your grill. Its probably 60% looks and 40% function imo.
You'd only feel a huge difference in performance when going around 40-60 mph and it would be in throttle response. Gas mileage might not change much at all.

mostly looks, but if you look at them, it directs more air towards your air filter, so even if it does very little, it ptobally does something. I doubt you would really notice it though.
