Default Carbon Fiber Dash Kits

Does anyone have any pics of their S2k with a Carbon fiber dash kit? And if you could please give some details (price, manufacturer, etc.). Thanks.

I have a set on my car. I got it from my brother in law. He works at a performance shop here in San Diego. I believe Comptech has a CF Dash Kit.
Comptech

I don't know what company mine was ordered from but the quality is real good. Once I get around to taking some pictures I'll be sure to post them. Probably won't be for a while though. Price was around 250-300.

So, I take it that it is manufactured out of REAL carbon fiber? Couple of questions if that's ok.

What is the construction of the CF like. Is there a nice deep lustre to the CF weave, or is there a dull finish? Any pinholes if you hold the pieces up to the light?

Are the pieces cut by a CNC machine? Are they nice and crisp pieces, or does it look like they are hand made.

How does it attach? Is it double sided tape?

RM Racing also sell a carbon fiber dash kit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is manufactured by the company that made yours.

Cheers,

Cheers,
The CF weave seems to be deep and precise but it's really hard to judge ... some would say it looks dull ... I'm not sure exactly what you mean by pinholes, but when I was installing it I didn't notice any transparency, however there was 3M adhesive strips applied to the backs of the CF pieces, so no light was going through anyway.

The pieces look crisp and the pieces attach via a 3m double sided adhesive (I think that's what it was).

you have to be very careful with the installation. I took my time and made sure everything fit, but it's still not perfect.
How hard is it to install?
