CARBON FIBER INTAKE MANIFOLD
Is that really showing a 20hp gain at peak??? That seems a little extreme. Maybe on FI but on NA that seems exagerated.
:EDIT:
If you look at their website
http://www.ctautoengineering.com/
You can see that those gains are with an EMS
So according to their website this manifold, after the EMS adds
3.5 tq
9.4 hp

I'm pretty sure this was discussed a while ago and I remember the look of it being ugly. I heard a couple of people say that it was due to the construction of the carbon fiber. It was said to be super difficult to create the normal carbon fiber look that we're used to while still being strong enough. I think part of this is contributed to the ...dry carbon???...construction.
it deffinitly is an ugly piece though

has anyone considered that it doesn't make any sense for this intake manifold to make any power what so ever?
if having a CF intake manifold was a good idea, real tuners would consider it,
could this thing even stand up to the heat? even with the heatshield gasket?
