I wouldn't trust it until I saw some real world numbers for it.
It takes a lot of research to make a good intake manifold. All the diameters/lengths have to be just right to get gains that are usable.

if having a CF intake manifold was a good idea, real tuners would consider it,

could this thing even stand up to the heat? even with the heatshield gasket?
It's usually far cheaper and easier to make an aluminum manifold. Particularly when it comes to flanges, runners and bell mouths.

Yes it can stand up to the heat. Here's some pics of one I designed and built for my FSAE car back in 2004-2005:

Two piece carbon manfold with an aluminum base plate and aluminum runners. Wet lay-up. 6 layers of fabric total with a foam reinforcement core in between layers 3 and 4 for the large flat sides. My first iteration (4 layers and no foam core) would visually expand and contract when the throttle was depressed. Major negative pressure in the manifold.

Pics of the lay-up process. You can see the foam reinforcement core here.

SICK...so do you wanna make us a manifold that performs great and looks just as good?

No, it does make quite a different, look at the corvette's multi-length intake manifold aka spiderleg manifold but this is totally another issue.

without knowing the spec and size of each runner, it's like a guessing game

Vapors2k, on the site had the prototype of this mainfold a while back and he has helped them make the final product, which is suppose to be better looking and less restrictive than the prototype as pictured. He made around 25whp from midrange and on. Check his posts on honda-tech. Him and the maker of the manifold have quite a few pages closly detailing the build and tune process.

Thank you. The manifold does perform and if you look at the posts you will see. If not even for performance this would be a nice one of a kind show mod.

I'd like to see some independent controlled dyno testing before I make up my mind. 25whp is an awefully big gain
