hey guys with aftermarket hoods,
how hard is it to install an aftermarket hood? i am thinking of getting a carbon factory style hood because it's nicer looking than the stock one with less weight... and since it rains all the time here, i thought it would make more sense to get a factory style without the vents. i guess most come with hardware but no hood pins. are those pins necessary? any advice?

If it has a factory style latch, hood pins are not necessary. The hardest part of installation is to line it up perfectly. Of course if you are not anal about it then it's not hard. Actually, either way it's not that hard if you know what you are doing.
