Nevermind. I had emailed this guy last night in response to an ad on automotive.com. I just got this email back from him.

"Dear Sir,
I am glad and i feel honoured that you have chosen my car from the thousands of ads,I can also asurre you that you have made the right decision because the car has been kept in garage most of the time,
i have purchased it in NY, but two months ago i had to move to London ,UK because i got married, and i took the car with me,
here in Europe i had an unpleasant surprise because the car is an US model ,a left hand drive and here in United Kingdom it is not legally to be driven,
they allow only right hand cars and i do not have what to do with this car now,I have tried tosell it locally but it was not succesfully. That is why i am trying to sell the car in USA,there will be no further problems because the car passes US emissions standards and DOT & EPA as long as it has been purchased in US space.
I will need your zip code so i can estimate shipping and if you are a serious person i will let you know further instructions to finalize the transaction succesfully.
I am asking also seriousity from your side because i have a lot of persons interested on the car and i have to know each way to go.
if you want extra pics please let me know.
Thank you for your time,
Respectfully
Michael"

Sounds like a scam to me.

oh I know. deep down I think I knew it was a scam. The ad was for a MY00 with 10k miles. He was asking $14.5k. Oh well, the search continues.

This is not just a scam, but a Nigerian scam. Doesn't his butchered English look a little suspicious? Next, he will ask for your bank account number for some kind cash transfer. Instead, your money goes to Africa.
