Ok Melissa was only home her second night and that damn cat found the perfect sleeping spot. Right in the middle of her top. I uncovered her and found a nice round dip in the top where the cat was laying. Thank god I had the presence of mind to put the cover on. The spot seems to have relaxed and dissapeared. Anyway, I remember someone on this board recommending contact paper. I found 1/4" styrofoam with a peal and stick backing at the local craft store. I put a couple of sheets on top of the car cover on Melissa's top. Working so far. Cat's still alive too!
Bye the way, If it weren't for the Zaino, my wifes Accord V6 would need a fresh coat of paint.

How To Bathe The Cat
1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.
2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have
both lids lifted.
3. Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him toward the
bathroom.
4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both
lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape).
CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as
his paws will be reaching out for any object they can find. The cat
will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come
from your toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power wash
and rinse" which I have found to be quite effective.
6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there
are no people between the toilet and the outside door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both
lids.
8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside
where he will dry himself.

Sincerely,
The DOG

Be careful with that cat - I wouldn't let it get anywhere near my car unless it was declawed. And even then, probably not.

My cat used to love sleeping on my last car (NSX) and routinely left scratches in the finish as he was clawing his way up to the roof, hood or where ever his final resting spot was. I had to banish him from the garage. Eventually ended up as road kill. Yes, I was sad but I never got another (cat or NSX).

I cured this same problem with my Mustang ragtop using a scraminal. It's kind of like an alarm, but cats hate the sound! The S2K been cat free!

I was thinking that you accidentally ran the cat over by looking at the topic title of this thread.

Those little bastards love to get up on clean cars...for no reason at all, often they don't even sleep, just walk on it with muddy paws and then jump off while scratching the paint.

The only upswing is they keep the mice population down in the garage. I have had a mouse chew through my fuel line near the fuel rail...almost caught the car on fire while driving!
