Cats can do a lot of damage to an automobile. I had a cat claw my passenger seat in an Acura Legend I owned. Seat looked like $hit. A cats claws can put scratches in your paint.

Animals owner's are responsible for the damage their pets cause, but it is hard to prove damage was caused by a specific animal if you don't witness the damage being done.

The cat should not be out at night if it is a pet. If it is a stray, trap it and take it to the pound so it can't procreate.

We don't have a lot of stay cats where I live.

Import a coyote.

P.S. Check your hood for scratch marks.

Good Luck

I'm no PETA person but NVMY4N you're an unwiped anal pore. My beautiful 8yo Lab died a long miserable death thanks to my stupid hillbilly - no offense - bro-in-law leaving antifreeze on the ground (other readers if you're new to this, antifreeze, for some reason, is attractive to dogs and cats). If I caught you or any other putz trying a trick like that, you'd have listened to your last Lynrd Skynrd record.

My neighbor has a cat and she turned me in to the authorities for detailing cars in my garage as a part time retirement hobby. The cat sometimes gets in my garage. Hmmmmmmmmm.

THERE SHOULD BE A LEASH LAW FOR CATS JUST AS THERE IS FOR DOGS.
