caution on brembo brake upgrade

I have seen previous posts about brembo brake upgrades, but most are old. One of the older threads posted the spec info on the 13" brembo brake upgrade which included the following:
Important: Clearance of caliper to back of wheel spoke is critical. Pay special attention to measurement "A".
I can assure you this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. I am upgrading to 18" wheels and was upgrading to the brembo brakes. The wheels I bought are not compatible with the brembo brakes! They do not meet the clearance requirement. Apparently, any wheel with any significant "lip" will not fit. In my case, these are racing hart C2s. Other than the warning above, brembo does not identify in any way which wheels will work and which won't, so it is up to the customer.
