Default cautions to take care of on an 00

in Oct i bought an 00 , and drove it for a month and then put it up for the winter...Now its becoming that time to almost bring it out again, id like to know if there are any issues with the 00 year that i should be concerned with taking care of before i start driving it hard and autoX with it.... Ive read that there are "lubrication issues" can someone expand on that ?

Lubrication issues are from the oil jet bolts. You can buy new ones that come on 2002.5+ s2000s. They cost about $40 for 4. You can get them from hardtopguy.com or http://www.handa-accessories.com/

If your not comfortable pulling the bottom end off your engine then you really should have the dealer do it for you.

Make sure the seat belt and spark plug recalls have been done.

The only 'Recalls' there are, are the seat-belt and the spark plugs...the rest are TSB's which are a little different

Go to any Honda dealer, give them the VIN for your car and they can look up what recalls apply to your car and which recalls have already been done. The recall data-base is national and can be accessed from any Honda dealer regardless of where the car was serviced. Good luck.
