Bored and looking for things to do, I rummaged through my old photos (all on CD) and found these, which I had posted last summer, but were lost when Photopoint died. So I decided to restore the pictures.

The storage rack was originally built by my stereo installer and lined with that cheap carpet-like stuff that stereo shops seem to favor. The thing was shoddily constructed, so I rebuilt it and covered it with red leather (from Townsend), which matches the red leather seats. I've since also covered the window tube with red leather, which works beatifully in keeping the window scratch fee. I've also replaced the black straps that hold the tube with red leather straps.

Brandon,

If my memory serves me well, it was about $100 worth of leather, $25 wood and hardware, and triple the total in my time .

Your a crazy guy Rick! You should be out driving that thing, not tinkering in the garage for CD storage! Really though that is a very nice piece. Now all I need is the CD changer and I ready to place an order.

nice job Rick on wrapping that thing in leather. I can't believe you actually wrapped the tube in leather too. I wonder if it works better.

Don't mean to offend anyone...but...

Rick: Are you and the Townsend leather guy dating or what?!?! Is there nothing you won't slap leather on? (That sounded bad didn't it?)

Just curious.
