I'd rather not support Chinese made products ever again- make a stand and demand domestic products. I recall going to Parts Source asking for brake rotors a few years ago- they brought them out- looked at the box and handed them back- I said "these are made in China, I don't want them." Check out girl looked at me funny as if- what's wrong with them being made in China?
Personal choice.

I would be surprised if you could still buy any oem replacement sized rotor, for this car, that wasn't made it China.

Everything is made in China.. even Made in America and Made in Japan products... Coke/soda, electronics, hardware tools (Milwaukee uses Chinese components), pharmaceuticals, bathroom/kitchen liquids and supplies, plastics, etc., etc.... they all use components, ingredients, parts from China and assemble in US or elsewhere. Even the meat, beef, chicken you eat everyday (from grocery or fast-food... it all comes from the same "big chicken" or "big cow" corps anyways) was fed processed corn or animal food product sourced from China. Same for local produce and farms.. they all use China sourced products, feed, pesticides, etc.

China quality is very hit or miss, and they make tons of generic and low quality stuff like everyone knows, no doubt... but they also make some super good stuff nowadays - Apple products, camera/photography gimbals and tripods, household and other electronics, hardware items, etc.

I don't care where it's made... I just want highest quality for the money. As I'm not rich and am a smart buyer.

If anything, I dislike the Trump. Trumps administration is the #1 reason why we are in this pandemic mess. Firing the super important doctors, the eyes&ears, in China that specialized in infectious diseases back in summer 2019, and also closing the pandemic program in Dec 2019. And also downplaying Obama's push for pandemic response programs in 2015.

I've said for decades that 'buy American' is actually unpatriotic.

If you buy American products only because they are American, there is little incentive for them to make good stuff. Quality suffers, and eventually Made in America means its crap.

Thats what happened in US auto industry. Domestic cars were the worst cars in showrooms. They rode their reputation for a while, but Japanese cars kept getting better and better, domestic worse and worse. Only when people stopped Buying American did they wake up and start making better cars.

If you want US industry to thrive, then buy the best thing for the money, regardless where it comes from.
