Milwaukee tool = made in US
Milwaukee 18650 cells used inside their rechargeable battery packs = made in Korea or Japan (assuming if they actually use the best 18650 cells)
RAW chemicals, materials and other "precious metals" to produce the "made in Japan/Korea" 18650 cells = sourced from China.

There's really no way around it.

lol

^ To add to that, Milwaukee Electric Tools are owned by a Chinese company now and is merely a brand name.

Most cordless tools are practically made in China these days. Some may be lightly assembled in the US so they can claim "Made in the USA" and avoid import duties but pretty much none of the major brands are truly made in the US.

Bringing this back on topic, what makes the Centric brand so good?

I use Centrics for track days and stuff, and I like them because they are cheap and plentiful.

Hard braking in these cars can cause rotors to crack over time, so just using the cheap ones to get the job done is much more cost effective than drilled/slotted sets that would crack just as easily.

I would pick a decent blank rotor over slotted/drilled all day long. On most any car with easilly obtainable drilled rotors you will see cracking sooner most times.

Centric simply makes very good rotors. They have been around for a while (They own Stop Tech as well) and their stuff just works. To be honest I know plenty (including me if I do not buy Centric) who have great results with Napa blanks too. It not so much why Centric is good, but why you are just paying for name brands many times by spending more on others when it comes to rotors. Unless you are going super exotic on materials, chances are the higher cost brands blank rotors will perform no better than Centrics. And as mentioned, if you are doing lots of track days, you are going to go through rotors anyways and may as well be spending less on them each time

Which exact Centric model/part# do you guys recommend? Looks like there's 5 or so different models for the S2k on RockAuto.
