changing your headlight bulbs from the already perfect color is about as rice as you can get....

" dont know about ap2's, but ap1's headlight are not purple, they are pretty much pure white

the reason the audi's, bmw's, porsches' headlight are blueish/purpleish is because the way the projector is designed, not because of the color temp of the bulb, they are all 4300K

my favorite headlights are the TSX's, they are sooooo nice i love it "

They are not purple, our lights are a perfect white. When people say they are purple / blue / white its because they "flicker" or "twinkle" that color when you see the cutoff line. It has nothing to do with the actual color of the light, its how its reflected.

if you want more color in the flicker of your lights, why dont you just do the washer mod? although you have to open up your headlights, i did it and it makes the color on the top of the cutoff thicker and deeper in color. basically you open your headlight, take the prjector assembly or whatever its called off and unscrew the 2 small screws on the back. theres a metal piece in there thats being held on with one screw, take that off and put one washer on each of the little things that are sticking out. then put it all back together. sounds a little confusing but i think its worth it if you want people to see more color in your lights

You guys.... I FOUND them. SO SWEEt... what yall think? Looks like I know what i will be getting for my Bday. NOT TOO BLUE... On the whiteISH side. Not every one has these.

those looks to be 8000k, the useful light output on those are a lot less than what you would get out of a 4300k bulb, the highest i would go is 6000k

These are not daytime running lights.
sure they are!

And I LOVE the stock lights, I remember coming home from school during a winter break with an s2k behind me (this was before I had one, I was driving a 944 porsche) and I kept thinking it was the cops. When they're far enough away and hit a bump the lights flash blue and can drive you nuts Now I get to do that!

I have people in front of me always tapping on their brakes when I wit a bump. I guess they freak out for a second and think some cop snuck up behind them.

Nah man but 4300k vs 6000k = 3800 Lumens vs like what? 3400?
try 3200l versus about 2400 for the 6k bulbs...

a halogen h1 bulb sits at abotu 2000lumens for reference.
