Make believe for one minute that you are the head of the S2000 development team and that you are about to put the model year 2004 production run to sleep. The m/y 2004, lets assume, is nearly identical to m/y 2003. Management comes to you and says, "We want one or two changes to the car that will differentiate it from m/y 2003 and improve it. We don't, however, want to change the essence of the car; for example we don't want a sports coupe. We want the distinctive quality of the S to remain the same, but we want some changes. We want to take m/y 2003 and improve it."

What would you change?

Here's my two changes:
Increase the displacement to 2.2L
Trim the weight down to 2600 lb.

Add two more cylinders, go to "traditional" analog dash (instruments with needles), .... but keep everything else the same.

#1) Tonneau (however it's spelled) cover that folds over the soft top when it's down.

#2) 17" wheels...stock.

Oh...and of course any mods to add more power or torque are always a plus.
