I did the housing on my headlights and I remember having to drop the bumper just to get to the back of the headlights so yes it might be possible to diy but i think it will be a pain.

 

well i have done it with the help of my cuz its an impossble job with one person but i had to take the wheel off for each side and then unclip the fenders and bend it bac kso we can get to light. so it look sik now.
