How difficult is it to change the radiator hoses on an AP1 (with the engine in the car)? Anyone here done it?

Super simple
Drain the radiator, use pliers to release clamps and remove hoses, install new hoses, refill radiator with coolant, bleed the system by loosing the bleed screw on the thermostat, tighten up the bleed screw when no bubbles come out, and fill the radiator to the top, fill overflow tank to required line and you're done.
Nothing in the engine bay really gets in the way to do this procedure.

^ Are you sure nothing gets in the way in the procedure?

The upper radiator hose is a b*tch to change and is hidden right under the intake manifold. (Do a search on this)

The lower one is pretty difficult too. You can get it from the bottom with an extension and a swivel socket. Otherwise you have to do it from the top and you might want to take off the alternator.

you can pretty much see what you're going to have to contend with when you take a look at the hoses from the engine bay.

it doesn't look as simple as how i replaced the hoses on my civic lol
