que?

If you mean an AP1 steering ratio into an AP2; don't quote me but I seem to remember from the CR thread in the R&C forum that it would be a PITA to do.

AP2s have two steering ratios, 04-07 and 08+ (same as all AP1s). Honda stated what the exact changes were, but to change over, it would mean a lot of digging.

Keep in mind the steering ratios were dialed into the suspension setting of the cars, so it works as part of a system. You're talking about 2.4 vs 2.6 turns lock to lock, bot a big difference.

only the CR in 08 has the tighter ratio. regular s2k has 14.8 ratio.

i just remember the ap1 steer as feeling more telepathic than the ap2

I thought the CR had the same ratio as the AP1 - pretty certain of that.

you should enjoy it

I guess the sources that said here that it was the same as the AP1 were wrong.

My take on this discussion is that:
dyhppy is correcting you, alejo, on the fact that the AP2 '08s have this tighter ratio--and they don't. But what you keep saying alejo--that the ratio is the same on the CR as was on the AP1--is correct.

Steering Ratio on CR = AP1
Streering Ratio on AP2 (excluding CR) is independent ('04-'08)

You are correct alejo, the CR uses the Ap1's steering rack.
