Cheap and light track rims
My eventual plan, when budgets permit, is to buy a nice set of 17" rims for the street and use my stocks for the track. There's no benefit to a bigger rim for track use and I think some nice 17's would look good for the street.
The highest offset I came across was +45mm.

Nope, according to that place the Kosei K1 does not have a fitment for the S2000.
I would try to call Connor, though. He may have some insight- it could be a special order item. This wheel is exceedingly popular with the Motorola Cup racers, as is the SSR Competition.

So, what started this whole thread was after talking to a local guy who races Spec Miatas. I know the Miata has a number of cheap strong, light 15" rims for it. I am sure the Miata has a much more standard offset, but I would think someone could make such a rim for an s2k.
Would anyone be interested in a less expensive, ligther set of wheels? 16" only.
