erm.... how did you check the wiring to the map sensor if you dont even know where it is? you dont seem to know very much about cars in general (considering the map or maf is usually in the same general area on pretty much every car), contrary to what you're proclaiming about you and your friend.

you're giving me very conflicting information regarding your automotive knowledge, so I don't know if this is something you can fix. the map sensor is located by where the intake and throttle body meet. it's on the throttle body. see it here:

yea am sorry for not better explaining myself
i traced the map sensor wire inside the car (dunno if that helps)
ok let me try again
you have a green with red stripe wire leavin the ecu going to the sensor i guess
the turbo kit tell me to cut that wire
instead of going to the sensor ill be going in the greddy emanage first
and then ill be goin to the sensor after the greddy
i really hope that help
sorry for not better explainin myself

I dont have a solution here but it might be worth it to just buy a new map sensor and see if that fixes it, they're only around 50 bucks. My map sensor went bad a few weeks after I turbo'd my car, the car didn't go into limp mode though, it just basically ran like crap, lots of hesitation, would stall at red lights, etc. I replaced it with an integra map sensor and all the problems went away and never came back.

I have a "maint reqd" light on. When I was driving from Boston to NJ it just came on. I have never owned a Honda before but I think these lights can be reset by me? Car has 11,200 miles on it and is a MY00.

read your owner's manual please. it's just a reminder light to change your oil, and must be manually reset.
