Default Check engine light

i bought my s2k with a comptech supercharger. it has 97k miles on it. i cant figure out why the check engine light is on. The code reader said my rear O2 sensor was bad, i bought a new one and it still reads the same. Is my PCM messed up? can the light be on bc of the supercharger?

i wouldnt worry about it since that o2 sensor doesnt affect performance. looks like the previous owner installed a test pipe.

i wouldnt worry bout it either but i was told the car doesnt run right when the light is on. and i wish i had a test pipe. it still has a stock exhaust with the resonator delete. im currently looking for a invidia kit.

The CEL illuminated will not affect performance at all but the root cause might. What exact code are you getting? The SC will not cause a CEL unless something was installed wrong or damaged.

i think it said something about Bank 1. dealership told me the 02 sensor was bad or the wire shorted my PCM and to buy a new PCM.
