To each his/her own....but if you ask...... man, that whole set-up is pretty hideous. It never ceases to amaze me when people put a wing on the back that would slow an Indy car. I mean that is a ton of drag on there. No way it is going to be any benefit to rear downforce when the car is already so balanced. It really cracks me up to see those on a Civic or a Neon or some shitbox; it takes about 50 of those weak horses just to pull a wing like that through the air.

 

I like the Veilside cover painted better. I agree with BOB MOSS. I am tired of these IDIOTS taking a nice car and destroying the look with some BIG ASS Wing. To me, It looks ugly. Serves no purpose, except to say Hey--Look at my BIG ASS wing" !!! The other day I saw a Saturn 4 door--yes a Saturn--with a big ass wing--white rims--blue/white paint job--fire extinguisher???? I wanted to go up to the kid and say---"Is that fire extinguisher there in case you race a real car or blow your engine carrying that wing?"

 

Ive calmed down from RWIRSING371 calling me an IDIOT....... I just hope you have the opportunity to do that in person. Anyway I appreciate that everybody is not a wing person... to be honest with you I was not at first either, my 16 yr olds idea... but it has grown on me. My post was to comment on the cover..... A-hole.. not the wing or me as a person participating in the human race... but thanx all the same.

Kinda my thoughts too... but not any higher than a stock Veilside.... But agree big time. But still like it enough to use it.

 

So did you have the leathe done custom or is Veilside doing that now? I like the painted veilside but as you said if it rains or something you are screwed. I don't like the wing but hey it's not my car so if you (or your son) like it enjoy.
