I just got back from Irwindale Speedway running the 1/8 mile drags. With only an AEM CAI, my best run was 8.991 @78.45 mph. Nothing taken out, running with custom 12" sub w enclosure and amp . How fast would that be if it was a 1/4 mile I wonder?

Why didn't you just get a Cobra or 'Vette? I don't uderstand people bragging about how quick the roadster is in a straight line. Why don't you impress everyone and tell us your track time at a road course? Again the S2000 is a roadster , not a dragster.

That's probably why I do both AutoX and drags. It doesn't matter where the rush comes from. I'm just enjoying my S2K every way I can.

Nothing personal, but man.. who cares what people do with their rides. ITS THEIR CAR. Drag, autocross, track.. whatever floats your boat. I'm sure everyone here knows that the S2K is built for the track... but if they wanna drag it, then so be it. Just a bit tired of people always sayin crap when people post their times from the drag strip. If they didn't, we would never know how fast the S2K actually is in the 1/4 mile. Besides, I don't think most people who post are bragging, they just want to share their results with the rest of us....

Sorry if I am a little off the subject here but I am interested in your header. Could you spin your tires before your put on the headers and or your exhaust. I have only had my s2000 about a month so I have only tried to do a burn out twice. All I did was spin the clutch so I stopped trying. I figured I would need to change the clutch to be able to do a good burn out. Did you changed the clutch or was it just putting on the exhaust and header.
