as topic and description says, I'm gonna check out a used s2k tomorrow (private seller) and what should I be looking for? thanks in advance.

Hmm the same on any used car. Look to see if it was moded,look at the tire pattern to make sure its even, brakeing good, no choking on accelerating, look for any signs of rust,look at how clean the car looks, make sure u check the top to for holes, look under the car to make sure it has a cat still and all pipes look good no bents or major dings, headlights work all turnsignals,check all fluids to see if they are empty and look at oil make sure its a nice color, check shifts for smoothness no notchy felling if so bad tranny, same with cluthch make sure that its still intact and not about to go. That is all i can think of hope this helps out and bring some one with u thats a ass hole that will make sure if any thing is wrong they will tell u for sure
