Reading these ads is simply comedy to me! Here are some lines I picked off:

I guess whatever it takes to get people in the door. The whole ad is like one giant YELL!!!

Thanks Ulrich for posting these ads.

However, may I make a suggestion?

You may want to remove the older ads since they take a bit of time to load on my slow internet connection.

Otherwise, please keep it up. You are doing one of the best services on this website!

I was thinking about that, but then I figured that if you went to a dealer with one of these ads and tried to get a price match, he might dismiss it as a one-off and send you home. By going in with a whole series of ads you can show him that there is some consistency in the pricing and that it's in his own interest to be more realistic in what he wants to charge. That's also the reason why I try to include the header of the newspaper with the publication's date in the scan, where possible.

I do try to crunch the JPGs though. As long as each picture is less than 100K, it should be okay?

If anyone has any other/better suggestion(s), just let me know.

Grand Honda, ad from today's Chicago Tribune. I guess now we know the what premium they charge for 2003 vs. 2002.

These guys are some shady guys, I wouldn't trust them. I had soap operas with them last year. Ended up buying '01 used for $26,500 from private seller.
