Yesterday it was about 60 degrees here in the chicago area. Nothing but sun. Truly a gorgeous day. Unfortunately for me I was not able to drive my car, it's at home in the garage. I have suspended the insurance coverage for the winter and am waiting until there is more continuous nice weather before I put it back on. I did see a new 02 Silver S2k on the road yesterday, made me insane with jealousy. He had his top down just enjoying the weather while I was in my Red Focus, just not the same. Might have been worth the couple hundred bucks of wasted insurance $$$ for a ride yesterday. Hopefully my wait won't be that much longer!!!!

Did you go to Fremd H.S. I remember seeing a Silverstone that was always parked in the back of the lot along Quentin. Was that you? I have a brother that went there the same year the S2K was there....

Yes I did go to Fremd HS. Now that I think of it, I think have gone to school with members of your family for a while. I went to Paddock and Plum Grove. But yes.. someone told me we're supposed to get like 10 inches of snow tomorrow... This is by far the most messed up winter I've ever experienced..

Don't mean to rub it in, but I was driving around the Palatine area on Saturday also. You sure you saw a Silver - I have a Blue 02. It was a truly beautiful day for February. I was expecting to see some other S2000s, but never did. Also noticed that of the convertibles I saw, only a handful actually had the top down! Come on people, what's the point of buying a convertible if you're not going to take the top down?!?!?!

Which suburb you from. I'm sure I saw a new Sebring Silver, no doubt about it, I saw it in Schaumburg. I haven't seen a new blue one on the road yet, the only blue on I've seen in person was at the autoshow. Very nice, I love the blue interior. Two days ago....60 and sunny....today....20 and snow?? What's going on?? Wish I could have enjoyed Sunday with you, but my penny pinchin' tendencies got the best of me. Can't wait to get my insurance back on though, then I will once again rule the streets....
