I was out on Sunday, too ('00 Silverstone), top-down & enjoying my last few weeks with the car <sniff>. It was a great day for car washes, too. In my short jaunt, I didn't see a single other convertible with the top down.

 

Tom, I live in Hoffman Estates. Whenever I take the S out for a drive, I never head toward Schaumburg - too crowded. Does anyone around here have a cool route they take when driving around? There doesn't seem to be any roads built for the S around here, plus I'm always too afraid of getting stopped by a cop.

Don't worry, it will be spring soon.

Oddly, I find my self constantly logging onto www.weatherchannel.com for weather updates.

 

I love driving along Lake Shore Drive on warm summer nights.. Sheridan Road is nice too with a lot of curves.

 

For decent roads, must go north through Barrington, Barrington Hills, and Barrington Lake area. If you don't mind, going even further north is good too......Wisconsin.
