Default Child seat in an s2000

My wife is looking for a new car. We have a baby, and because of that my wife was considering some kind of wagon/suv. She really wants a nice sports car though. I am currently driving an audi s4, and we don't generally haul around a whole lot of stuff during the week; the only reason she is considering a large beast is because we are weekend home improvement diy'ers. So I'm thinking we could get the s2000 and a cheap big ol' pickup for the weekend hauling, and have our needs covered. I was just wondering about the wisdom of driving around with a child seat in an s2000. Can the passenger airbag be easily disabled? Is it generally safe?

Thanks!

You will have to have an aftermarket airbag switch put in the car to turn off the passenger side airbag since the car doesn't come with one.

What about removing the fuse and/or relay to the pass. airbag? Could it be done?

I bet the fuse is also used for something else as well.
Like the horn fuse shared with the brake lights.
