When people say that they mean that they're tires "chirped" or spun enough to make a noise.

I've heard of chirping the tires. It normally occurs while speed or power shifting the transmission. A chirp is a little squeal from the tires. A bark is a louder, deep squeal. This has been Tire and/or Transmission Abuse 101, thanks for attending.

Basically dump the clutch out when you shift gears, or "drop it" after say 5000 RPM. First gear to second is pretty easy, second to third is a little tougher.
