HDSS = ACT heavy duty pressure plate and street disk. My AP1 has no CDV obviously.

They're awesome tires, but they shred my paychecks. I can't get them to last more than about 9k miles on the rear.

I can chirp second pretty easily.

My CDV is removed on an 07.

Listen at the 35 second mark for the difference in your CDV video to mine without CDV.

I just bought an 08 so I'm assuming it has the CDV. I'm able to get a chirp going into second from time to time. It might be from the colder temperatures that won't go away here in NY, 40-50ish. Now I'm anxious to see if I can chirp them when the weather warms up.

Yea Rick, with the amount of power a couple bolt-ons will give you, you can't have really sticky tires and expect to break them loose on a shift without abusing the hell out of your drivetrain.

When I had my S02's on 3 of them were bald and one rear tire had been replaced recently and it was in good condition. But I could chirp 2nd @ will with that set-up, even 3rd every once in awhile. But now I have put the RE01R's on all the way around, and I can't get it to chirp again to save my life lol.

So for you if you removed the CDV and get a stronger PP and lighter flywheel, you should be able to chirp 2nd even with those 18s on.

How come you didn't go to the SPGP?

Soooooooo I just washed my car and took it for a spin. I launched at 4500-5000rpm and chirpped 2nd. I didn't realize I had an audience (Was behind my building, desolate) but some dog walkers were applauding when I was finished. LOL. My cars still got it.

London - I wanted to go.. but I went camping on Beer Can Island instead. LOL

If I had known about the advertising thing I would have been in but I missed it. Looked like a great weekend tthough!

PM'd.
