Default Chirping 2nd gear..

Hmmm.. was watching a few youtube videos and saw a few launches/chirps into 2nd...

Now that I think about it I've never been able to do that in my S. Is it the 18" wheels (18x8F/18x9R Works, 225/255 Yokohama S Drives 80% tread). Is it the CDV?

Here is an old video when the car had around 25K miles. If you listen it sounds like my clutch is slipping - thus no chirp. Is that the CDV or driver error?

Chirp is probably more the type of tires. Some chip, some don't. Most decent tires aren't too chirpy.

That sounds like CDV to me. It should do that if you're getting on it.

Invidia V1 with Invidia TP. It does sound nice but looking at your sig I would say the drone/overall loudness would put you off in person. I like it - but Im top down 99% of the time so it doesn't phase me much.

I can chirp 2nd if I power shift it on Eagle F1's. It's most definitely abuse to the drivetrain. I also have a HDSS, so I can lock it quickly.

when I had fuzions on the car I could chirp them into 3rd.

I'd bet it's CDV.

i have a MY06, i still have my CDV in. i had bf-g g-force tires the KDW2, the one with a weird pattern, i could chirp in third in that one. now my hankook rs-2 i can still chip in 2nd but no way in 3rd. just got to learn how to abuse it. but its really bad on your drivetrain.
