Seriously, either you have absolute crap tires or insanely bad wheel alignment. I don't even chirp in 3rd with 370WHP and I drive hard. Granted I don't beat the living piss out of my car... in between shifts.

Stop terrorizing your S2000
Oh stupid...back to your cage.

It's a 600 treadwear tire... you answered your own question.

So the tire grade is what's allowing it to chip so freely into 3rd...Hum, learning...thanks

It's likely to be a contributing factor. For reference IIRC the s2000 came with a 140TW tire from the factory.

Nothing wrong with chirping the tires but without a tune your mods shouldn't have added more than maybe 10 hp and that's only cuz ap1's run pretty lean from what I understand.
You should read on...all the geniuses here have figured out, that your car having enough power to over turn the tires in between shifts, has nothing to do with the power of the car. So when a GTR smokes 3rd for half a mile, it's the clutch, not the power behind it. Smh Thanks for your reply bro. Few good people here, mostly ASC certified Honda people here I can see. Lmao!
