Default Chrome Headlight housing on *NEW* '02 S2000!?!

Have any of you noticed this? I was looking at the Japanese Honda web site and every picture I see of a '02 S2000 has these chrome headlight housings. . .

They look chrome to me. . .wonder if the '02's for the US will have these as well. . .

I don't see any chrome... just the cleared corners that jdm cars have always had.

I agree, they look chrome. I remember hearing something about this. I always thought about it too... Lexus did something similar with the RX300.. before it had black surrounds like we do, but this year the RX has a chromed housing. Just detail updates I suppose. I am pretty sure that we will be able to get these as well if we really want them. The part itself should not be different.

I think you're assuming an awful lot from a very small photograph that has probably been retouched.

Nope I see chrome. Doubt any touch ups there. As someone said, a small detail upgrade to force people to trade in their MY2000/01s for the new 02s

I can't see anything! Just boxes with red x's in each!
Do I need to enable anything?

Rick. . .

Seriously. . ."touch ups"

I think not. . .

I think this may be a new thing for the '02 models in Japan and maybe Europe but not the USA! I think they'll keep the front lights the same. . .maybe not, I can't see the lights good enough on the US model. . .

Nevertheless, we will certainly know in about three weeks!

I see chrome too. It looks different then our cars. Also is that the new silver? It looks lighter then ours.
