i saw in Autoweek there are some places that can chrome our wheels.

I also saw a '01 Maxima with the 17" wheels that were chromed.... GAWD AWFULL!!!!

The car has been on the lot for at least a month or two with those horrible looking wheels!

I still wonder how much weight the chroming adds...and since it's unsprung weight, yikes!

I like the look of the one or two guys who have chromed theirs here, but it's a weight issue to me...that can't be light!

I forgot to have mine checked before chroming; however, I see they are now putting chrome rims on all new S2Ks at my local Honda dealer (as an added option). I believe they are also selling chromed rims direct through the parts department. I'll ask if they will weigh one so we can compare against the weight of a standard rim.

Did you notice any kind of handling/steering difference after the chroming?

Just wondering... What kind of deal could Honda-Accessories.com cut us on the chrome wheels?
