Is the "14.2" for CL done privatelly or by a magazine? 'Cos if you're looking at 'privatelly' then you have to compare it to 13.6 for the S2000.

"Private" times are always quicker then "magazine" times.

Honestly if you are considering the CL, look at good look at the Infiniti G35 Coupe coming out. It's going to be very very nice.

I drove one last week and loved it. It definitely has some genes from my prelude cause thats the way it feels..just faster. And that engine sounds awesome. Only problem is the 3rd would grind at low speeds...and they "salesman" heard it. But im still waiting. He said they get the new accords next month and that they are supposed to be fast with a 6speed of their one. One thing that did surprise me is that it had better turn in than the RSX type S. You can really tell that Torsen LSD is working.

Great car for it's purpose; but the one thing that kills it for me is the FWD. I never could get used to being pulled by the front wheels in my Accord.

Just how did you come to this conclusion: seat of the pants test, dyno, or by listening to the manufacturer of the perf parts? Honda usually does a pretty darn good job extracting most the power out of their engines. While they do make compromises to make things quieter and cheaper, I find it hard to believe an I/H/E setup will really get you 25-30 more HP without sacrificing low end power. Remember HP is just some abstract number that is derived from torque and RPM measurements.

As an owner of both an S and a Type S, I beg to differ.

Just how is the engine in the CL-S a marvel?
