Default Cleaning duct tape residue off interior soft top..

So, I had a small tear in my soft top due to the arms not being ground down in time. Used a piece of black duct tape as a temp fix until I could research a permanent one. Wound up going with a piece of black canvas and GOOP. I have to say, it worked beautifully! Now I need to get the duct tape residue off the interior of the soft top. Suggestions?

Small piece of advice, I used professional strength goo gone to try to get rid of that tape residue on my soft top and it actually started to eat through the vinyl. So be careful!

I'd suggest buying a small piece of thiker-ish vinyl, placing it over and around the culprit spots on the front bar on both sides. Won't see the residue, and won't see the problem again
