Do you all use soap and water to clean your exhaust tips or a cleaner? Suggestions? I tried the Simple Green degreaser but it didn't that well

I use a product by Mothers (I am not sure if that is how the spell it). It is a chrome cleaner intend to clean Chrome Mesh wheels. It workd great on the exhaust tips. I Spray it on, wait 2-3 minutes and wipe. It gets all that grimme out. I am sure you wont be disappointed.

I just don't think it takes extra effort unless you let it build up. I wash them when I wash the car, wipe out the black, dry them with everything else and they look like new.

I wash the car once a week, but I somehow forgot about the exhaust tips. I ran into a fellow S2K owner a few weeks ago and his looked MUCH cleaner. Figured I need to do something about this, through some "elbow grease" into it to get 'em looking new again

If it's a stainless steel exhaust, use an S.O.S. or Brillo pad. Seriously.

I use it on my BroSpeed exhaust on the Subaru. Though if you clean the car often (every couple of weeks, say), then really all you should need to do is wipe over the exhaust with your car wash brush, and the grime should come right off.

I also just have been in the habit of washing
them when I wash the car and wipe the black out.

Just don't let them build up.

i always clean these last- and use a chrome polish that i use on my chromed out CJ- chrome polish from griots. they might not be chrome (cant tell for sure- anyone know?), but the chrome polish works great! other brands would also work-
