you can do it yourself if you have the time and patience...people love the results but personally i would never attempt it...i say this because i already have ...spent hours taking off the front bumper and trying to pry off the glue on the headlights but ultimately gave up...your best bet? buy the Euro spec ones or send them to a shop in cali because i believe there is one performing the mod, im sure someone will post the info...

Should have used a heat gun instead of a hair dryer............

Mistake has been made before.

I can get the Euro Spec headlights for $950.00 plus shipping.

Or the other option clearing them out yourself.

I just did the head lights last weekend, let me just say, it's a MAJOR PITA, I'm serious, and if you're going to do it, make sure when you seal it up, you seal it up good (go crazy over that, you'll need it) because if for one second you think it's good enough, the next thing you know you're washing your car, and suddenly you see your head light fogging up, and believe me I do not enjoy take off the bumper one more time and clean out the moisture and do extra work to seal it up, when I could have done it earlier. The results, I like the look much more than the euro spec light, but for the amount of work put in it, I wouldn't do it again. my advice is, if you got the $$ for euro light go for it, if you can find some place to do it for you, go for it, if you want self gratification and be able to say "I did it" then do it your self.

hahahahahaha yea it was horrible horrible i tell ya!

but even so Eze, if you use a heat gun be real careful and do not concentrate on one area at a time because even with the low heat of a hair dryer i was melting the housing a little...

I heard you can put the headlight in the microwave to heat the sealent so you don't have to use a heat gun. I have NOT tried this myself but I was told I works better by a friend of mine that had some work done on the taillights of his Maxima. Any thoughts??
