All of the clear corner talk the past few months got me thinking (hey, it could happen!)...other than the Japanese lenses being clear (and slightly different pattern), are they the same size/fitment as the N/A ones? I would assume they would be, and if so, how about trying to set up a group buy with some of our Japanese brethren? Maybe with some real digging we can order that single piece instead of a full headlamp unit...

Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

The Japanese won't work without modifcation. Remember, they're set up for right hand drive, which means they angle up to the left and will blind opposing drivers in the US.

Rick,

I'm not talking about the entire assembly, just the replacement for the amber piece. That doesn't affect aiming, size, etc. We would still have to take apart the housing ourselves, but at least we would have a clear diffuser instead of amber.

You cannot buy only the diffuser. There is no part number for it. You can only purchase the entire housing.
