Are all silicone sealants the same? I can't find the silicone sealant recommended in the clear diffuser install... all the ones at my local hardware store are clear silicone sealants... so I wound up getting the one made by GE... says it's 100% silicone. Think this will be ok? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question...I really don't know much about this stuff... and I don't wanna wind up messing this up and having to redo it. Thanks for any help!

 

You should be fine. The one listed in the installation guide was purchased at an autoparts store. You just need something to make them water tight again.
