Default Clear soft top

Me and one of my good friends were driving today and we saw an S2000 with the top up. Which suprised my because the weather was so nice today. But anyways I got to thinking about why no one has ever made a soft top that is clear. Think about how cool it would be to have almost like no top in the rain. Anyways it was just an idea and I wondering what you guys thought about my little brainstorm.

As long as the material doesn't discolor like the rear window, it would be kind of cool. Maybe that's why no one has ever made one.

i have actually seen this done, not on an S, but an older lowrider. The top was clear as crystal, they used the same material as they do on clear umbrellas (vinyl, plastic, i dunno) but the entire thing looked SOOOO GHETTO!!!

Good idea on paper but awful in reality.

I don't "even" want to think about what kind of greenhouse effect you'd get with this. Talk about stitting in a hot house. Even on relatively cool days, you could bake your arse off.

No thanks.

An interesting idea, but one that would never come to form. Just so many issues with it and think of the CREASES!

Solar powered flashlights, funny!
