I am getting mixed answers to if the red S2000 has a clear coat. While having a scratch repaired on the passenger rear quarter panel, the body shop told me there is no clearcoat on the car. He said he made a phone call that confirmed this. He recommends clearcoating the whole car. Is there a clear coat on the red S2000! Does it matter? Thanks.

There is a clearcoat. I'd be scared of that body shop! Even if it didn't have a clear coat, I surely wouldn't let anyone clear coat the whole car, and for what purpose anyway?
