Well I cleared my headlights this weekend, wow what an experience, its definitely an all day event. Well anyways when i took apart the headlights I decided to take everything of value out, hids and ballast. Long story short a drunken idiot "accidently" dropped the bulbs on the ground and the small clay looking casing around the metal filament broke on one of the bulbs. After a good round of cursing, I put the headlight back together and hooked it up and it worked! My question is am I going to have to replace this bulb in the very near future, or does that clay surrouding do anything? Thanks alot
