I will answer to this topic's tittle... You just remove the airfilter box cover and pull off the filter. Then you just push the new one back on.

It's on there pretty tight, I warmed up the rubber with a blow drier to make it easier to pull off. Notice the little pin, the K&N has a slot for it so you line up properly.
Also if you remove the airbox cover you gain sound and lose hp, so depends what you want.
