what kind of a reply is that? lol why would i wanted to spend 1000 putting a cat back on. I'm getting rid of the car, i just want to disable the light.
The correct reply. Why would you want to deceive the buyer? Replace the cat or cut your price.

is there any wonder why i don't open threads on this board, you guys will rip another on any noob, and i'm a noob extraordinaire.....lol.

mods how about putting this on under the hood, i keep scrolling upwards to see if i was in s2k talk or under the hood forums. I'm not mechanically inclined so i don't like to spend time in the under the hood section.

Just disconnect the battery from both terminals. Most of the newer MY's are pretty sensitive to having a test pipe so it will probably just come right back on again.

no one's ripping on the OP because he's a noob (he's been on this forum for over 3 years)
folks are ripping on him because he's doing a jerky thing trying to rip off a buyer.....

Actually, it's worse than that. He's trying to enlist us in his scheme.

Although I don't think we want to help him in his Federal Crime.

If you turn in the car and they notice you have no cat... even after the fact, they're going to turn your dumb azz in.

If you have other plans for the car (like a track vehicle), then no problem. Just don't drive to the events.
