Clicking coming from left rear

Can you elaborate on this? I haven't heard anything like this and I am having this clicking sound too. I also get a funky vibration under load and especially under load/WOT around a turn...
Is this something that I can do myself? I hope so, I'll do it this weekend!!
Please, give details!
Similar situation - but it was more of a banging I heard. The car went back to the dealer and................ those F(*#@N MORONS at Herb Chambers in Boston didn't remove the spacers from the springs before delivery. It's fine now.

have the half shafts tightened...there is a not that holds them on. You really need an impact wrench or a huge wrench to tighten them....I had this problem months ago and the dealers really are ignorant when it comes to this clicking noise. There are also tons of posts on this clicking in the rear end. I think I have at least 2 by me and there are several others as well, hope this helps you all out.
greg,
is your "vibration under load" coming from front or rear of car?
i ask, b/c i have a vibration under accelaration coming form left rear - it's fvcking annoying!!
it disappears after 70kmh (45mph) from standing start - but re-appears whenever speed is between 60 and 70kmh - any gear.
also, with top up, there seems to be a whistling/howling noise coming from same corner - meaning that i'm sure it's happening all the time, but with top down i'm just not hearing it.
this statted happening after i had H&R springs installed and 18" wheels put on. i've already checked the following:
wheel - not bent, new hubcentric ring installed (just to be sure) and wheel/tire is in balance.
suspension - had left rear shock/spring assembly removed and re-installed.
brakes - checked, nothing found
wondering if it's drivetrain related...axle, halfshaft, LSD etc.
any thoughts? anyone?
a friend of mine said it's simple "harmonics"

TKG 26, the problem with this is that the vibration isn't consistent, which gives credence to the idea of "loose" axle or something that only under the right conditions will it exhibit this vibration. As far as I can tell, it's coming for the rear...but cars have a skillful way of something sounding like it's coming from one place and it's really coming from another...
For those of you who have "tightened" your axles, how do I do this?! What tools do I need? I want to do that this weekend!

I had this "clicking" sound before, always seemingly coming from the rear wheel-well on the drivers side and always while at low speeds. I finally took it to the dealer to take one of the technicians on a road-test. Thankfully, he heard the sound as well. End result - they replaced the differential fluid, which they found to be extremely dirty. In fact they replaced the fluid, took it for a test drive, and then drained it again "just to be sure". That was about two weeks ago now...I've had no problems and heard no noises since then.
I have the same 'click' sound from my car's left rear corner. It is on mild to hard acceleration from a stop, more noticeable in reverse.
I had this remedied once by Formula Honda, they mentioned something about tightening an axle bolt (?), but it's back again after 5000km.
I am going to take it back to Formula Honda and see what can be done to permanently fix it.
Also, on another note, I have to say that Formula Honda is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. On tuesday my left HID headlight went out. I went to the dealer thinking I was going to buy a $20 bulb to replace myself - ha ha, the bulb alone is $260.00! To replace the bulb, you have to remove the front wheel, and unscrew the wheel well liner. Formula honda told me this would not be under warranty. I said "ok, get the part."
I went home, and decided to call Honda Canada to complain - a $260.00 bulb should last longer than I have had the car. The customer service rep was very nice, and she agreed. She contacted the warranty department and got it covered. She then called Formula Honda but was told by them that it was going to be a courtesy repair!! Formula Honda paid for my replacement bulb and labour! I was pretty impressed by both how great the customer service at Honda Canada was, as well as how well Formula Honda has treated me!
Peace.

Deadpedal:
The clicking from the axle nuts exhibits it's self when you do quick starts from a stop in forward or reverse, then won't usually do it again until you reverse directions and do a quick start the other way. Just popping the clutch slightly will make the axles creak. Don't confuse this with the brake pad shift noise that comes when you reverse directions and apply the brakes lightly and hear the click.
I have taken the axle nuts off and lubricated the face of the nut where it contacts the hub, then torqued it about 50 lbs. past the spec. I think I went to about 210 ft. lbs.
If you tend to engage the clutch quickly and jump off the line at a stoplight the noise will probably come back a few thousand miles after doing the retorque. It is the splines of the axle creaking. It has been happening to NSXs since 1991.
My suggestion would be to take it to your Honda Dealer and have them do it. If they want they can call techline for the procedure. If you want to try it yourself it isn't that tough. Remember to stake the nut after you have retorqued it.
Hope this helps,
