damn is this a normal happening in the rain for S2000 owners? I've only had mine a few weeks so haven't driven in the rain yet.

Th OEM rear tires have a tendency to hydroplane at highway speeds after they have a few thousand miles of wear and the tread is less than optimal. While their dry-weather handling is exceptional, they leave a little to be desired in the wet. I replaced mine with the Michelin Pilot Sports, which not only handle better in the wet, but also offer superior tread life. Their dry grip doesn't exactly match that of the Bridgestones, but since I don't autocross or track the car, its not a problem.
