Cloudy Headlamp lenses
Now, whenever possible, i always keep my car in the garage, but for work/school i'm forced to leave it outside
and lately i've noticed that one of my headlamp's lenses is getting cloudy and starting to turn a yellowish colour. i'm no chemist (yet
) but maybe this has something to do with the plastic reacting to the sun's radiation? if this is the case, is there any way to "un-cloud" my lens and turn it's colour back to clear again??
Thanks,
-Alan

You will probably get a lot of suggestions on products that will restore your headlights.
This article is worth a read. It includes a lot of info on how and why headlights yellow and haze, and looks at one solution.
There are several polishes that are designed for plastic, including headlight housings. However polishing the headlights will only restore them temporarily. They have lost the protective coating that was applied at the factory. To protect them you will need a product like the one described in the article. Alternatively you can apply the headlight sections of a "clear bra" kit.
